I seriously began my lifelong interest in photography in the Navy during deployments to Vietnam. I had the fortune to have the time and some friends who knew a lot about photography. I continued my photographic interests  after I entered the work world, attending several courses at Community College as well as many field seminars. Of course, those were days when we shot in film and did our prints in our home dark rooms. My photo time decreased dramatically during the 1990s through 2009 as my career and family took center stage. I retired in 2009 and couldn't wait to get back into photography. The digital era was going full bloom along with great tools such as photoshop and other interesting software. What a great time to get back into photography. My interest in photography covers the gamut from landscape to portraiture as well some non-traditional subjects and techniques.
